Celebrate Nursing Students Week

The Nipissing University Nursing Society (NUNS) and the Canadian Nursing Students Association are celebrating Nursing Students Week, November 14 – 18, and you are invited!
They are hosting a Nursing Appreciation Night on Thursday at 7 p.m. in room A226.

That night, the CNSA will present their initiative for the year, the Buy-A-Net fund to purchase nets for Ugandans to prevent malaria. They are selling nursing water bottles and silicone bracelets (part of the proceeds going to Buy-A-Net). 

The evening includes refreshments and food. 

As well, on Friday, student Emily Pitre, Nipissing’s official delegate for CNSA, and Dylan Jackson, NUNS president, will be going to several area high schools to discuss nursing with the students in grades 11 and 12.
