The Chancellor’s Medal for Humanity

The Chancellor’s Medal for Humanity is based on the core values of good citizenry which are: excellence, respect, and compassion. The medal will be presented to a graduating student from any Nipissing degree program who has positively impacted the lives of others while demonstrating a dedication to scholarship and the service of humanity. The recipient must have demonstrated profound compassion toward their colleagues and fellow citizens from a diversity of communities and embody what it means to achieve success with empathy and kindness. Nominations are to come from Nipissing University faculty, students, staff, and the public atlarge. Nominations will not be accepted from immediate family members.
