Nipissing University Celebrates Outstanding Research
GeneralResearchNorth Bay, Ont. - Nipissing University celebrated the research contributions of seven of its faculty members who received funding from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) and the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) last year during a Research Showcase held on January 22. The event highlighted eight different research studies that collectively earned $837,535 in funding in 2019 -
NU Graduate Skaai Davison will do her MSc at Oxford University in England
Skaai Davison is heading for Oxford University in England this fall to do an MSc in Embryology. She prepared herself to make this leap across the ocean by excelling in all the Biology, Chemistry and other courses she took at Nipissing University during her four years here. She made good use of specialized upper-year courses to distinguish herself from other students who are competing to get into Graduate School at Oxford University. -
