The City of Toronto has just opened applications for their Youth Career Development Program.

Youth Career Development Program:

  • Eligibility: Youth 18-35 years old who identify as Black, Person with Disability, or Trans/Non-Binary/Two-Spirit
  • Opportunity: 5 month, full-time, paid opportunity to join the City of Toronto as an Administration Trainee
  • Program Includes: Participants build professional skills, participate in professional development workshops, receive mentorship, and opportunity to connect with Employee Resources Groups such as Black Staff Network, Pride Network, and Employee Disability Network
  • Key Dates:
    • Program runs mid-May to mid-October
    • Information session for interested candidates on Thursday, January 29
    • Applications close February 9
