A future in accounting

Nipissing’s Alumni Relations Office, the Office of Student Development and Services and the School of Business invite you to A Future in Accounting, Tuesday, September 24, at 3p.m. in H106.The event features a panel, moderated by the School of Business, with representatives from accounting regulatory bodies (both CPA and CGA), industry (Grant Thorton, KPMG, and Collins Barrow) and Nipissing University alumnus, Steven Tripodi, BA'96, Investment Advisor at RBC Dominion Securities Inc.  The panel will discuss the qualities of a good accountant; the importance of an accounting degree and tips and suggestions on how to make yourself more attractive to employers.
After the panel, participants are invited to a formal wine and cheese event (business casual dress) in H102 to network with accounting employers and ask questions to the accounting regulatory bodies.
