Clear your closet for Nipissing’s Winter Apparel Drive
Does that bulky coat no longer fit? Have your kids outgrown their snow pants? You’re in luck!
Nipissing’s student volunteers will be in your neighbourhood on Friday, January 23 to pick up gently used winter apparel for donation.
The Biidaaban Community Service-Learning program has partnered with the Social Welfare and Social Development Club for the Winter Apparel Drive.
Students will be collecting winter hats, scarves, boots, snow pants, coats, mittens, gloves and any other warm clothing you want to say good-bye to.
Your winter apparel will be donated to various local community organizations to help keep our community warm and safe this winter. Your donation also helps those in need maintain dignity and comfort during this most difficult time of year.
If you are interested, register your address by Thursday, January 22 for clothing pick up with The Social Welfare and Social Development Club of Nipissing University; 705 474 3450 ext. 4684 |NUSWLFCLUB@gmail.com
