Lakers add talented recruits to numerous teams

Women’s hockey, women’s soccer and women’s volleyball can all celebrate as they have added new recruits to their lineups in the off-season.It’s safe to say the Nipissing Lakers women’s hockey team is taking a proactive approach to improving their lineup and adding some key pieces. They added two more players recently, signing Alexis (Lexi) Debol and Brooklyn Kallusky, both of whom will suit up next season. Head coach Darren Turcotte said he and his coaching staff are adding players they feel can fill some gaps in their lineup, and add characteristics they need.
The women's soccer team welcomes Sarah Schouten to the program for the 2014 campaign, hoping she can add to what has become an impressive roster.
Annabelle Harvey joins Cassie Dobson as the two newest members of the Lakers volleyball team and head coach Marc LaRochelle said he’s thrilled to have them join in the mix.
