Helping the hospital with on campus book fair tomorrow
Nipissing’s Schulich School of Education is pleased to offer help to everyone with book lovers on their Christmas list, as well as the local hospital, by hosting the Scholastic Book Fair on campus, for its final day on Thursday, December 11, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., in room F204.
The fair is organized by concurrent/junior division students in sections 1 and 2, with Dr. Kristen Ferguson. All proceeds from the fair will support the North Bay Regional Health Centre’s pediatric ward, mental health pediatric ward, and Emergency Room.
The organizers are very close to achieving their goal of donating $1,000 worth of books to the hospital. To do so, they’ll need to sell more than $2,140 worth of books, so get some shopping done and support this great cause while sharing the joy of literacy!
Books for sale run the age-appropriate gamut from newborns, through the preschool level to young adult, and adults. There’s also French books for children, as well as cool stocking stuffers like book marks and pencils.
Payment by cash or credit card is accepted.
