Fun winter games for kids on offer at NU

With Olympic fever reaching epidemic proportions, Nipissing is pleased to announce a free winter games sports day camp for children 6-12, taking place Friday, March 7, at the Robert J. Surtees Student Athletics Centre.Organized by students in the Bachelor of Physical Health and Education department, the camp features a busy day of outdoor sports and activities with an Olympic twist. Kids will play a variety of games while exploring the meaning of Olympic values. Participants will fly through the Laker Luge, team up for a special prize in the Snow Shoe Shimmy, and fly to the finish line in the Arctic Rush Sled Race. The camp runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
To register, simply email tonucampday@gmail.com to request a form. Registration is limited to 20 participants and is first-come, first-served. Confirmation of registration will be provided via email upon receipt of registration. The registration deadline is February 28, or once camp capacity (20) is reached.??
