Catch MLC at Eddie Farewell Charity Fundraiser

With spring in the air and the snow on the run (please!) it will soon be time for the 2012-13 Schulich School of Education (consecutive) class to graduate. To celebrate the graduating class and to bring together all education sections, Nipissing hosts the 6th annual Eddie Farewell Charity Fundraiser Social on Wednesday, April 17 at the Wall.

This year the event will once again feature local classic rock cover band, MLC, who are donating their time and energy to entertain.

Proceeds from the event will help fund Nipissing’s Men's and Women’s Laker hockey teams, as well as the Near North District School Board’s anti-bullying campaign.  Since its inception, the Eddie Farewell Charity Fundraiser has raised close to $10,000 for a variety of local charities and causes.

Doors open at 10 p.m. and the event is open to all members of the Nipissing University and Canadore College community, including friends and family.

Tickets cost $5 in advance, and $8 at the door.  Tickets are available at the NUSU office or from Rob Graham’s office (H145).  Don’t wait!  Act now!! Tickets will go fast!!
