About Olympia Sports Camp 
Olympia Sports Camp welcomes campers with diverse interests, offering specialized programs across a wide range of sports and activities. We strive to provide a physical & emotionally safe environment so that participants are able to learn positive attitudes skills & social behavior. Role Summary:
This is a Senior Staff role. As a senior staff member they are responsible for assisting with training, supervising and supporting staff across camp. The head of AV oversees the technological operations of daily camp activities which includes recording inventory of all of camp’s cameras, speakers, computers, microphones, projectors and other equipment. They ensure the needed equipment is available and set up for sessions and camp events. The head of AV also oversees the photography and video of camp life to create materials to share on our website and social media.  

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Set up AV equipment for camp programming. 
  • Oversee photography and video of camp life. 
  • Create end of week camp videos. 
  • Manage and schedule staff assigned to the system.
  • Exemplify and uphold Olympia’s core values of safety, teamwork, and respect at all times. 
  • Contribute to a positive and energetic camp culture for both campers and staff. 
  • Engage directly with campers, staff, and parents/guardians to ensure a high-quality experience.

Required Qualifications:

  • Current First Aid and CPR certification. 
  • Experience working with audio visual equipment. 
  • Experience editing and creating videos. 
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. 
  • A passion for working in a fast-paced, dynamic camp environment. 

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in a camp setting. 
  • Ability to lead a team.  
  • Experience as a supervisor.
