About
Alix Voz is an interdisciplinary visual artist. Her interests are rooted in cultural geography, place-based identity, and collective memories with a focus on natural and built environments. She also initiates collaborative projects that emphasize various forms of public intervention such as art exhibitions and events aimed at social concerns from a local perspective. Alix is the Director-Curator of the WKP Kennedy Gallery (North Bay). She holds a BFA Honors from Nipissing University. Alix is a Master of Arts candidate in the Interdisciplinary Studies program at York University (Toronto) with a Graduate Diploma in Curatorial Studies in Visual Culture.
