• Chancellor’s Awards celebrate excellence in research, teaching, service

    Each year during convocation, Nipissing University celebrates the value and importance of its faculty through the awarding of the Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence in Research, Teaching and Service. Although we are not able to gather for in-person convocation ceremonies at this time, we would like to recognize and congratulate this year’s deserving recipients of the Chancellor’s Awards.
  • Nipissing University Celebrates Outstanding Research

    Nipissing University celebrated the research contributions of seven of its faculty members who received funding from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) and the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) last year during a Research Showcase held on January 22, 2020.
  • Nursing Program Continues BPSO Implementation

    Following the awarding of a grant of $105,000 from the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario (RNAO) in June 2018, Nipissing University’s nursing programs are transforming through a pre-designation period in order to become a Best Practice Spotlight Organization (BPSO).
  • Social Neuroendocrinology Lab Research Published in Psychological Journal

    Nipissing University researchers, working in collaboration with students, faculty members, lab technicians, and medical doctors from Simon Fraser University, the Northern Ontario School of Medicine, and the University of Massachusetts-Boston have seen their work published in Psychological Science, one of the most prestigious journals in the field of psychology.
