Nipissing University’s School of Physical and Health Education is seeking qualified course instructors for the 2026 Winter semester.

Qualifications:

  • The minimum education requirement is a university degree or college diploma in physical education/kinesiology or a related discipline, with preference given to a post-graduate degree.
  • Qualifications and teaching experience specific to the course are required, preferably at the post-secondary level.
  • Competence in course planning and delivery, teaching space management, and student evaluation should be provided.
  • We strongly encourage applications, which may include self-identification in a covering letter from Indigenous peoples who can contribute diverse perspectives and insights.

Duties:

  • Responsible for all instruction and evaluation for the portion of the course to which they are assigned
  • Will be available to meet with students outside of the official classroom time
  • Complete mandatory training requirements, review and follow Nipissing University's policies and procedures

Course Available:

Winter 2026

A total of 16 hours of instructions over a period of four (4) weeks.

January 5, 2026, to January 30, 2026
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00am-11:00am

February 2, 2026 to March 6, 2026
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00am-11:00am

March 9, 2026 to April 8, 2026
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00am-11:00am
